Fusion Homes is searching for an experienced Purchasing & Estimating Manager to lead a progressive Estimating group that diligently forecasts job costs to determine resources for various projects within the residential, high-rise and land development industries. As Purchasing & Estimating Manager, you will work to maintain competitive profitability and ensure quality standards are met and exceeded.

This is a demanding role – it requires someone who has extensive experience working in the area of construction purchasing and estimating. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of how corporate objectives impact on estimating strategies and techniques. Moreover, a sound understanding of various building types, traditional subcontractor work scopes, construction systems and methods, construction specifications and building code will be required. Advanced quantitative and computer software skills are also a must.

Manage and administer Purchasing & Estimating departmental functions including operating budgets, staffing, wage reviews, work assignments, performance evaluations, etc.
Direct the work of junior estimators and review all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation

The ideal candidate will possess an agile intellect, an analytical mindset, be capable of high level problem solving and will have experience with manufacturing best practices, process management and negotiation.
