<p><strong>GUELPH, ON, February 10, 2012</strong> – Fusion Homes is proud to announce it has been included in PROFIT magazine’s ranking of Canada’s 50 Best Small and Medium Employers for 2012. The rapidly growing Guelph-based homebuilder ranked number 13 in Canada, a testament to its dedication to employees.</p>
<p>The rankings measure employee engagement, which was calculated through a confidential, companywide survey that all participating organizations had to complete. The average engagement score for this year’s winners was 83 per cent, while other participants in the study had an average score of 61 per cent.</p>
<p>“Being in the Top 50 Small and Medium Employers in Canada is an amazing achievement that highlights the commitment we have to our greatest asset – our people,” says Fusion Homes President Lee Piccoli. “We are a young, fast-paced company with a unique culture that focuses relentlessly on providing the highest level of customer service to our clients. Keeping our employees engaged, excited and inspired is a top priority, and allows us to retain and recruit top talent.”</p>
<p>Becoming a Best Small and Medium Employer is a very detailed and competitive process. This national award program recognizes top employers that have between 50 and 399 employees. This year, more than 250 organizations across Canada participated in the study.</p>
<p>“Achieving high engagement isn’t easy at the best of times,” says Einar Westerlund, director of project development at the Queen’s Centre for Business Venturing. “It’s even more challenging in an improving economy when the demand for workers increases and employees have more options. Unless employers have been able to gain a strong level of commitment from their workforce, they will see employee turnover begin to increase.”</p>
<p>The study, now in its seventh year, is facilitated by Queen’s School of Business and AON Hewitt, an international HR consulting firm. <p>As New Home and Interior Design Manager, you will lead the new home design, new product development and interior design functions for Fusion Homes. The New Home and Interior Design Manager will be Fusion Homes’ leader and go-to-person for new product introductions and models. The ideal candidate will be a strong project manager with a flair for unique, dynamic and innovative designs. The candidate ultimate selected to be our New Home and Interior Design Manager will have an amazing opportunity to help shape the future of Fusion Homes!</p>
<h3>A Preview of What You Will Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage the New Home Design process in conjunction with Marketing, Sales and Drafting</li>
<li>Review floorplans, elevations and the product line to offer feedback on an ongoing basis</li>
<li>Liaise with external suppliers for new and existing products</li>
<li>Facilitate the launch and training of new products</li>
<li>Create displays for all upgrades samples</li>
<li>Design support programs to encourage the sale of upgrades</li>
<li>Maintain options and extras in our software</li>
<li>Create organized filing systems and Décor Centre displays</li>
<li>Execute a creative and cutting edge vision while managing the process for all Model Home and Sales Centre designs</li>
<li>Utilize AutoCAD to complete furniture layouts for Model Homes and Sales Centres</li>
<li>Provide support to the Sales and Purchasing/Estimating teams on an as needed basis</li>
</ul>
<h3>The Ideal Candidate Will Have</h3>
<ul>
<li>2–5 years relevant experience </li>
<li>Interior Design-relevant Diploma, Degree or Certification</li>
<li>Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Revit architectural software</li>
</ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Fusion Homes is a nationally recognized, award winning home builder and land developer who is entering an exciting time of expansion! As a result of our continued growth, we are adding an exceptionally talented team member in the role of Senior Systems Administrator.</p>
<p>The candidate hired for this newly created role will help to lead our internal Information Technology department, will be responsible for all hands-on aspects of IT and will also be engaged in various IT, software and network systems-related projects. As Senior Systems Administrator, you will utilize your knowledge of IT and Network Systems as well as your ability to manage projects in order to bring Fusion Homes’ IT function to the next level and to assist our continually growing team. </p>
<h3>A Preview of What You Will Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage projects and ensure that they are completed according to project plan, scope and budget</li>
<li>Assist with enterprise-wide software implementation (Accounting, Sales, etc.)</li>
<li>Ensure servers are running at optimum efficiency (maintenance / software updates)</li>
<li>Provide end-user support throughout the company, including remote locations</li>
<li>Troubleshoot user issues for all aspects of IT, both in house and remotely including the procurement, inventorying and installation of workstations</li>
<li>Track and maintain software and inventory for warranty and renewals</li>
<li>Choose and monitor vendors for all IT-related office components</li>
<li>Create and maintain security groups and servers</li>
<li>Maintain data back-ups</li>
<li>Communicate technical language to non-technical groups</li>
<li>Manage and participate in special projects (tailored to incumbent’s interests and abilities)</li>

<h3>The Ideal Candidate Will Have</h3>
<ul>
<li>1 – 3 years of related experience (preferably 5+ years)</li>
<li>Post-secondary degree in IT, computer engineering/science or another relevant field</li>
<li>Superior skills in hardware, software and utilities, network administration, systems administration, computer operations (Timberline Office / Builder MT WMS database / Virtual Servers / Crystal Reporting / SQL / Blackberry BES / Microsoft Office Specialist – running on Windows 2003 SBS and Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise with Exchange 2010)</li>
<li>Advanced project management skills</li>

<li>Finely tuned organizational abilities and attentiveness to detail</li>
